Information for USA Customers – Import Duties & Tariffs
I want all of my USA customers to have a smooth experience when ordering from Charlie Victor Products. Due to recent changes in US trade regulations, there are a few important things you should know about how your order is processed when it arrives in the United States.
Why are there tariffs and duties?
The US government has introduced a 10% tariff on certain imports, including goods shipped from the UK. In addition, US Customs & Border Protection may apply import duties and processing fees to parcels as they enter the country.
These charges are not set by Charlie Victor Products — they are applied directly by US authorities and are collected by the courier (UPS, DHL, USPS, etc.) before delivery.
What does this mean for you?

When your parcel reaches the USA, customs duties, tariffs, and courier handling fees may be added.

These charges must be paid by the recipient (that’s you) before the parcel is released for final delivery.

The courier will normally contact you by email, text, or phone to arrange payment quickly and securely. UPS shipments can be paid using the tracking link, you will find it there and seems straight forward.
How much will it cost?
The amount depends on:

The value of the order, including the cost of the shipping paid.

The type of products in the parcel (customs classifies items into different categories).

Courier fees for handling the import process (each courier sets their own processing charge).
Unfortunately, we cannot predict the exact amount in advance, but we are working with couriers to keep costs as low as possible.
How to make the most of shipping

Combine orders – The shipping cost is the same up to 2kg, so ordering together with friends helps spread the cost.

Think in brackets – Shipping and duties often step up in weight/value brackets, so you can add extra items without increasing fees until the next bracket.
