These MK.III Skill Bands, updated to work with the Third Season release, have been specially designed to fit snugly around the rim of any 32mm base. Building on the success of the MK.II version, this updated design makes small but meaningful improvements to the fit, finish, and readability.
Like the previous generation, the MK.III bands use durable, brightly coloured silicone with clear, contrasting screen-printed text. Each skill type retains its distinctive “base colour” for easy recognition, while frequently used skills such as Block, Dodge, and Wrestle continue to carry their own familiar colours from within the community. Over the years, Charlie Victor Skill Bands have become the recognised standard within the Blood Bowl community, with these colours understood and used by players around the world.
What’s new in the MK.III version:
-
Improved fit: The bands are slightly shallower, so they sit neatly against the rim of a 32mm base without rising above the lip. This helps avoid clashes with models whose details spill over the base edge.
-
Cleaner finish: The top edges have been refined, removing flashing or roughness for a smoother, premium feel.
-
Better readability: Strength skill bands now use a slightly deeper colour tone, making the printed text easier to read during play.
-
Consistent production quality: Manufactured with a new supplier, the MK.III bands benefit from tighter quality control, improved colour consistency, and sharper print application.
The MK.II bands will gradually be phased out, with remaining stock offered at a reduced price for those who want to complete their collections or pick up a budget alternative.
With the MK.III range now launched, Charlie Victor Skill Bands are now available in 25mm, 32mm, and 40mm sizes, making it easier than ever to keep your teams consistent across different base formats.
Installation remains just as simple as before: stretch the band gently up and over from underneath the base. There’s no need to pull it over a miniature or scenic basing, keeping your models safe from damage.
